MNA National Desk: A Dhaka court has sentenced former state minister Lutfozzaman Babar, and 18 others, to death, in the August 21 grenade attack case, reported news agency. Tarique Rahman, and 18 others, have received life imprisonment in the case. Eleven others have been sentenced to various jail terms. Speedy Trial Tribunal 1 delivered the verdict around 12:20pm on Wednesday. The case involves the brazen attack that targeted Sheikh Hasina, who was the opposition leader at the time and now the prime minister of Bangladesh. Hasina survived with a partial hearing loss.
