MNA Bushiness Desk: The Office of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC) has sought information on default loans urgently from the central bank for checking loan portfolio of aspirant directors of registered companies, reported news agency. MNA Business Desk: The Bangladesh Small Industries and Commerce Bank Limited (BASIC) and Sonali Bank have more than Tk 97.64 billion in defaulted loans. Of the figure, BASIC Bank has disbursed the unpaid loans of around Tk 65.4 billion to 628 firms. The names of a few families have repeatedly emerged in the loan scam of BASIC Bank.
