SC started to conduct hearing of Nizami’s review petition this morning. The apex court, SC (Supreme Court) on Tuesday has started hearing a petition filed by war crimes convict Motiur Rahman Nizami for a review of his death sentence challenging its verdict that upheld the International Crimes Tribunal’s judgment sentencing him to death. The proceedings started at the four-member appeals bench led by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha at 9.30am.
