MNA National Desk: The High Court (HC) on Monday commuted the death sentence of Oishee Rahman to life term imprisonment in the case filed over the killing of her parents in 2013. An HC bench comprising Justice Jahangir Hossain Selim and Justice Mohammad Jahangir Hossain announced the verdict at about 11:00am. The court also fined her Tk 5,000. Oishee was sentenced to death by a Dhaka speedy trial tribunal in November 2015 for murdering police inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Swapna Rahman.
