MNA National Desk: The rail communication of Dhaka with the northern and southern regions of the country remained suspended since Sunday morning because of damage of a rail bridge in Kalihati upazila of Tangail, reported news agency. Tangail railway stationmaster Md Jalal Uddin said to media that the rail bridge over Pauli river in the upazila was damaged due to floodwater. The authority noticed the matter around 5:30am and stopped the train movement through the bridge. Efforts were underway to complete repairs and resume services as soon as possible. Train communications may return to normal on Monday, he also said.
