MNA Editorial Desk: The immigration police at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport barred journalist Shafik Rehman from going UK on Thursday. Shafik Rehman, who is also a British citizen, said he was barred from boarding a flight from Dhaka to London, where his wife is receiving treatment for leukaemia. An immigration official of the airport confirmed the incident and said Shafik Rehman failed to catch the flight on time as they took time to scrutinize his travel documents.
