MNA National Desk: The holy Eid-ul-Azha – one of the two biggest festivals for Muslims – is set to be celebrated in Bangladesh on 22 August, Wednesday, as the Zil-Hajj moon was sighted in Dhaka and elsewhere in the country this evening. The National Moon Sighting Committee took the decision at a meeting held at the Islamic Foundation’s Baitul Mukarram office on Sunday evening after reviewing information of the moon sighting, says a press statement. MNA National Desk: Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on 13 September as the moon for the Arabic month of Zil-Hajj was not sighted on Friday. The parliamentary standing committee on religious affairs ministry announced the date at the Islamic Foundation in the evening. However, in Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries, the Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on Sep 12.
