RAB starts operation at suspected militant dens in Jhenidah

MNA National Desk: Bomb disposal unit of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) have started their operation at the suspected militant hideouts at Chuadanga village in Sadar upazila of Jhenaidah on Tuesday noon.

Members of the elite force and local police cordoned off the two houses, owned by Selim and Pranto, adjacent to a camp of RAB-6 since early morning, said the RAB official.

Meanwhile, two live suicide vests were found at a bamboo cluster near one of the houses, Rab said.

The elite force suspected that there are people inside the brick-built houses and the team may recover bomb, grenades and other explosives from there.
