MNA Culture & Entertainment Desk: A total of 12 organizations including Bangladesh Film Directors’ Association on Saturday have declared to boycott popular Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan for indefinite period for his “derogatory remarks” on directors and actors.
Secretary General of the BFDA, Badiul Alam Khokon, made the announcement during a press briefing at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) in the capital on Saturday afternoon.
Earlier, the actor was served legal notice on the same grounds. But, he did not respond to the notice, said Badiul Alam Khokon.
Meanwhile, the association canceled the membership of director Shamim Ahmed Rony for continuing shooting with Shakib for new movie “Rangbazz”, violating the association’s decision.
