8 state-run banks to recruit 1,663 officers

MNA Education Desk: The government will appoint a total of 1,663 senior officers in eight state-run banking institutions in the country, according to a source at the Bangladesh Bank.

Bankers’ selection committee floated a circular in this regard. The central bank has recently formed Bankers’ Selection Committee (BSC) to introduce a unified recruitment system for state-run banks.

The state run institutions are Sonali Bank Limited, Janata Bank Limited, Rupali Bank Limited, Bangladesh Development Bank Limited, Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank, Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation and Investment Corporation of Bangladesh.

Eligible candidates can apply for the posts till September 9, 2017 through Bangladesh Bank’s website (www.erecruitment.bb.org.bd), the circular reads.
