Abdul Jabbar on life support at BSMMU

MNA Culture & Entertainment Desk: Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra singer Abdul Jabbar has kept on life support at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).

Abdul Jabbar’s could not receive any treatment and foods from Saturday afternoon. Jabbar’s younger son, Babu Jabbar said to media that Jabbar’s body rejected to receive any treatment and foods.

Singer Jabbar is undergoing treatment at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of BSMMU. He was admitted to the hospital with several physical complexities including kidney and heart diseases on 31 May 2017.

During the country’s Liberation War Jabbar motivated the freedom fighters through his patriotic songs. Abdul Jabbar achieved Swadhinata Podok and Ekushey Podok for his great contribution.
