Cautionary signal 3 for maritime ports

MNA National Desk: Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal No. 3.

Parts of Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, Sylhet, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Rangpur and Rajshahi are likely to face temporary gust-force winds and medium rain and thundershowers, according to a special weather bulletin.

Some areas of the country may face medium to heavy rains. The temperature may fall slightly during the day and stay nearly unchanged at night. Rainfall may increase in the coming 48 hours.

All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to come close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
