MNA National Desk: Police cordoned off a house in Ghop Central Road area of Jessore on Sunday night suspecting it a militant hideout. Police said tipped off that the militants are staying in the house, a team of police cordoned off a house in the area around 10:00pm on Sunday. The building’s owner is Jessore District School Assistant Teacher Haider Ali, who lives with his family in the school’s staff quarter. The flats in the building are available for rent. MNA National Desk: The police detained 12 people including three alleged militants after cordoning off a suspected militant hideout at Dangapara village in Tanore upazila of Rajshahi early Monday. The three suspected militants identified as Ibrahim, 34, his sibling Israfil Alam, 26 and their brother in-law Robiul Islam, 35. The eight suspected militants along with four children surrendered after a team of counter-terrorism unit from Bogra along with Rajshahi district police conducted the drive, said Asaduzzaman, superintendent of police in Bogra.
